James 1:22-25 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Scripture:

3 John 2-4 – Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in … Read More

Scripture:

Philippians 3:14 - I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

“I press!” carries the idea of an intense endeavor. The Greeks used it to describe a hunter eagerly pursuing his prey. No one becomes a winner by listening to lectures, watching movies, reading books, or cheering at the games. You … Read More
